That's so fantastic that you got the car back. I've driven and parked my 73 T everywhere for the last 20 years without much thought - well, actually, I certainly have always avoided parking lots that might get it dinged, and particularly bad neighborhoods, but not much thought of theft. I guess with longnose prices as they have been lately, I'm going to have to think about that. I wonder if any of those steering wheel clubs or locks to the brake pedals have much impact anymore. I assume not.

Meanwhile, I wanted to make a comment about your statement above. While you may have had great results in the past, I once had a bad experience and learned the hard way that they are really the insurnace company's agent, not your's. So, while they will help you to a point, at some point that changes and they have to honor their obligations to their company. In my case, I was in a small fender bender, no other car involved, just a street lamp that had no damage. I called "my" agent, a long time family friend and insurance "agent", to ask whether or not I should put a claim in under my policy. He turned around and reported it to the insurance company and my rates went up. Maybe there was an innocent explanation, or maybe just stupidity on his part. But, either way, it happened and it's a risk you should consider when dealing with your insurance company's agent.
