There aren't many Porsches in Minnesota and the asking prices are astronomical. I follow what's in the Minneapolis paper quite a bit and see asking prices that are way higher than on Autotrader or Cars.com on either coast or Chicago. I saw one 2002 C4 Cab asking $59,000. The ad ran from the end of 06 through most of the summer of 2007. He would switch the ad to $55,000 every once in a while and then back to $59,000. There are a couple of 2002 coupes that look nice that have been advertised for about $39,000 that have been in the paper almost all year. I can't tell whether sellers are just willing to sit on their cars or if their asking prices are just negotiating points. My sense is that people here think their cars are worth way more than they are.
