Sorry to all the Sony owners
I mentioned this to a friend who has one and he said his has been excellent and loves it. I may still go Sony Bravia and buy the extended warranty - mind you a TV probably dies in the first few months or not at all.
Interesting about the refresh rate. I hadn't thought about that.
