They basically haven't had any new ideas since then. Neither Jagger nor Richards on their own has an imagination. They need someone with vision to play off of to create that creative spark. The period of the RS's career that I like was the Beggars Banquet, Let it Bleed into the Sticky Fingers epoch. Much of the music reflects the disintegration and accompanying chaos of Brian Jones life. Thats where Gimme Shelter, Jumpin Jack Flash, Sympathy, Midnight Rambler, Stray Cat, Honky Tonk, Monkey Man and Can't Always Get, Loving Cup, Memo From Turner come from.

I seem to relish chaos and the edge, as so much of my life was spent there, I understand it very well.

For a bit of trivia...Didja know that Mary Clayton as a result of her vocal performance on Gimme Shelter had a miscarriage.
