If you want to learn a litle more about Rolex watches, I can recommend the book by James Dowling that describes their history in some detail. It's called Rolex: The Best of Time and is in its second edition.
Watchtime magazine gave out a special issues to subscribers last year that was essentially a compliation of all of the major articles they have written about Rolex watches in the last few years. You may be able to get a back issue from them. Failing that, they archive their articles on their website.
