You guys have brought up a interesting point, that is that people are pulling along side you to check/challenge your cars. I never really thought about that. Maybe its just the fact that I live in lawsuit happy Los Angeles, but I seem to feel like drivers around here are looking to win the lottery by driving in/around my vulnerable regions hoping I will hit them, so that they can suit me for bank. Sometimes I think some drivers see a 911 and think Porsche=$$$=deep pockets : car accident = large insurance settlement.
The other day, in the 993, while waiting at an intersection waiting to turn left with our turn indicator on, a car approaching at the opposite side of the intersection 300' away (speed about 45) also turned on its blinkers to turn left. Naturally, some drivers would respond like, ok he's turning left also, so I'm safe to turn. We almost did! We rolled forward about 2' but slammed on the brakes because he actually sped up and went straight ahead in front of us, with his blinkers on. What an a**hole! Needless to say, we were pretty pissed.
