Going back that far is sort of ridiculous, BUT its very interesting in another way. People who have the same basic interests seem to be drawn together. For example if you travel to some remote part of the world and meet people, you are likely to meet people that know people you know, or people that you know personally. Out of the millions of people in the world, yours is likely a smaller world, a world where all the people you know, know people that you know!! So instead of a world of MILLIONS of people you actually live in a world of of thousands of people or even less!! Why??? When you go to marry your world may even be a smaller one! Its not by overt choice, but because of some other phenomenons that people have just begone to study.
It may be that smart people of a feather simply stick together. I would marry Ann Colter in a heartbeat.
