Mine are unfortunately a little boring, so it shouldn't take much to top these.

When going about 75 on a 2 laner in eastern 'Orygun' between Sisters and Bend I was enjoying the car, listening to Blue Oyster Cult, going over a series of low rolling little hills when I meet an Oregon State Police going the opposite direction on the crest of a hill, radar detector fires when the cruiser's nose just appears, and I know I am instantly dead meet. He had to be flipping his radar on and off when seeing approaching traffic. Well he lights up like Christmas , flips a U-turn and has me over in less than a minute. No sense even trying to argue my way out when he offered to let me see the reading on the radar unit.

My favorite near miss, was on a two-lane highway in Washington state behind a row of 5 cars being held up by grandpa doing 43 MPH. Directly behind me was a Honda civic, riced to the max. When an opening appears in the oncoming traffic, I overtake the 5 cars in nothing flat with the ricer on my heals. I am doing 85, and immediately pull over after overtaking, and the ricer whips past me still on the 'go' peddle. I immediately start backing off while watching the ricer approaching 3 figures - showing that lame Porsche what a Honda can really do. Well in the oncoming lane are 6 cars with a plane gold Malibu in the middle. I am probably at 70 and still decellerating when the approaching cars are just about to me, and the Malibu turns into a light show. He immediately flips a U, and is bearring down on me, and I start slowly moving over to the area over the fog line (now doing the legal limit) - he then blows by me and 3 minutes later I see the kid driving the Honda in handcuffs - game over. How I wanted to honk and waive and yell Honda's rule dude!
