Awww, Paul....that's just cruel and unusual punishment.
Not that I'm a fan of government, but at least when I've been pulled over I was legitimately going fast (63 in a 40 when I was 16, 75 in a 45, "85+" in a 65...yeah, can't drive that fast anymore on the street or else I won't get my collector car insurance

). The one exception when I was pulled over and did not know why, I was on vacation in Monterey (Historics Races) and a cop pulled me over for a dead brake light bulb, thought I had been drinking for some odd reason (I hadn't, I was 20 at the time) and gave me the whole nine yards of a field sobriety test. Felt so good to show that officer when that BAC meter beeped and it just said 0.0!!

The cop was such a wanker about it, and kept insisting that I 'be honest' and 'tell the truth'...what a crock. (In the end, I went home with a fix-it ticket for the brake light and it was no big deal.)
I'm done with tickets. Since being a teenager, I've chilled out on the roads. Now I drive safely and save my ticket money for track days and go-faster goodies.
