My dad had recently given me his 911. He needed to take his new car for its first service and I said I'd follow and take him home. I get on the freeway via an up hill longish on ramp. I gas it and see a puff of smoke from the exhaust. Not sure if it was carbon or oil, I move to the fast lane and floor it as I was still going up a little hill. Paying attention to the let side mirror, I fly by a CHP that was in the right lane next to me. As I looked back up, I saw him and pulled myself over. Took the ticket for speeding, I didn't think he'd buy my story. I show up to the dealership about 15 minutes late. As my dad gets in the car, he asks "Why are you late, pulled over for speeding?" - I reply "yes", his next words, "you're joking, right?"....
