The 924 and early 944 up to 85 used VW handles with a plastic trim strip that snapped on the outer handle. The 85.5+ 944 had solid handles or Porsche script handles with no plastic insert. I'm just not familiar enough with the 924S to know if it used early or late handles. The 924S used early interiors but some later parts like the 944 of the same years.
