When I was young I didn't like to eat BBQ anything with my fingers, didn't like my food to touch, didn't like the juice from one food running onto another food.

I've mostly gotten over that. I'm still pretty fastidious about keeping clean when I eat. If I'm eating with my hands (ribs, for instance) it's only with a couple of finger tips, and I clean my fingers often. These days I get boneless wings and eat them with a fork. I don't bite into things in such a way that I'll get goop on my cheeks (when eating at the Y all bets are off. The messier the better).

I guess I'm similar to Trekkor except that I've compromised on my getting messy thing.

So, when working with food, it's mostly clean for me. HOWEVER, when working on a car or a woman I get really messy. If working on a woman with food, I guess we'd have to go by the messy rule because of the involvement of the woman.
