The T crank will fit and give you a 2.5 short stroke engine, but the 90mm MFI pistons are probably what I call RS Pistons and were only a 8.5:1 compression on the 70.4mm crank - with the 66mm compression is down to about 7.5:1
I know people have built an engine with this combo, but I'm not sure how the low compression worked out.
Specifically,in answer to your questions:
1) As long as you aren't spinning the engine to 7k rpm all day long, the T crank should work fine
2) The pump can probably be recalibrates - which one do you have?
3) E cams would probably be the best with the low compression ratio, but see if you can et a ride with an S-cammed car. I have S cams in my 2.6L SS and it's fine on the street.
I'm sure others will chime in
Regards,
AM
