at 19 i "got volunteered" to work in a catholic relief hospital down on St. Lucia. I know a few of you have vacationed there. but get away from the resort, and it gets real third world real fast.

there was a dirt floor quanset hut restaurant down on the beach. i always got the $3 catch of the day and a heinekin special. most of the time i never thought about what i was shoveling in m mouth. but after eating one strange lump i had to ask. the cook told me "bottlenose dolphin".

made a peta chick almost cry/barf with that story.
