From a financial standpoint, I would say yes. I'm assuming that the Skyline GTR you are looking at is a early 1990s car, and those things absolutely fly. I don't know how tough it will be to drive in the states, though. But I've seen them advertised for $50-70k around the web.

From a performance standpoint, I would say yes. These GTRs can outhandle and outperform the great majority of cars in the states.

From an owner's standpoint, never. I have a 993 C2S that I love dearly, and I've had her for just a couple weeks. Nothing can beat it's beautiful design, the happiness I obtain when I drive it, the urge to wash and wax it every single day.

What do you have to trade in or sell? Give us more detail. Is it a straight swap?
