Plus you're fighting the "Bush Backlash". A lot of people may very well just vote (D) because Bush was an (R) and they assume anyone else with an (R) is going to mean "more of the same, just like Bush". That's a HUGE liability to a Republican candiate right now. ANY Republican candidate.
