This election, above all others, cries out for a "none of the above" box.

I actually have a plan for what you describe. It involves running our government by doing what we do for juries. Pick the names of a few average, tax paying, legally in the USA citizens to replace the clowns in Congress and the White House.
Let's be honest...a huge majority of the people we elect and send to Washington actually "do" very little. They have huge staffs or career government workers who do the real research and work. For most of the elected clowns, their main job is to get reelected. They do photo ops and are basically similar to eye candy. There is no value that they supply most of the time.
So why not go down the voting rolls and require/ask (to be determined later) those selected to make the major decisions, votes, and policy directions. Pay them 5 times whatever they listed on their previous tax return. Not sure how long they should serve. Should not be too long or some of them will figure out how to jerk the system just like the elected scum does now.
Yeah, there are a few bugs to be worked out...but the holiday season has slowed the process. Also, we need to get this done before the snow melts and they open the golf courses.
Any suggestions or advice will be considered...but probably not much.
