The Kelowna Job was my first for IHA. They said I couldn't bid at first.
Then they said I'd have to pre-qualify to bid. I did, then won.
Steve Reily was the construction manager for IHA and he busted my balls the whole job.
The contract called for 4 months, max. Something to do with installing the MRI before the end of the fiscal year for the hospital? Anyway, Stevie and I became friends and I did some more work for them. Cranbrook Hospital; I did a couple jobs there too. tough bustards to work for though.
My son lives in Nelson right now. He's framing a condo project there.
My buddy is developing a waterfront resort there too.

I'm pretty sure I saw you a few months ago 'October I think' . I was working in Kelowna on the Tower Ranch project and had to meet a buddy in Salmon Arm before heading to revelstoke. I was waiting at a gas station in a silver BMW wagon... I was going to go bother the owner/ you if I could take a look the 993 turbo but you were talking on the phone at the pump for just too darn long and I had to go . Pretty sure it was you anyway.
