Great thoughts here. You're right, the car does not lack grip per se. I'm actuallylquite happy with how it handles and get plenty of 1.5G readings. The reason I was embarking down the wider tire path is two-fold.
1. Second place twice at Nationals. Means I need to be faster.
2. Reducing the impact of the 20 minute Hoosier fade that I experience with both tires which I assumed was due to overheating tires
