I grew up in Glendora. Moved there in 1958. Where in Glendora are you going to rent? There is ALOT of old money in Glendora. The 1940s Stripper Sally Rand once lived in Glendora as well as the actor Woody Strode, Van Halen Bass or Drummer, Richard Nixons 1st Cousin, the Rain Bird Sprinkler Corp Founder (corp was founded and based there) among others.
Glendora today is an upscale bedroom community, that is nestled in the foothills the old town has a very viable and upscale business district and the town is still the quiet place it always has been. It really hasn't changed except for becoming more upscale. The schools are very good for public schools. Above Foothill Blvd is the best, below a little less so. Below ALosta (old Route 66) has come up, it is part of the Lone Hill school District. You really can't go wrong living in Glendora..
