I lived in Alta loma for 13 years..1990 to 2003... Saphire (above Banyan) and Throughbred are the cross streets..I lived where they have Christmas Tree Lane...I had a 3000 sq ft Gary Miller home.. All 1/2 acre lot with horse trails. (horse property). Very quiet up there. Never going to really change.
I had an opportunity to buy a lot in the King Ranch for 130K..very top of Carnelian (Almond) .just above the Sam Maloof museum. Gated community backed by the National Forest...37 houses... 5000 sq ft minimum according to CCRs ....the planes coming into Ontario airport look like toys from up there. One of the big regrets of my life is not buying that lot and building a custom home on it. Or I coulda sold in for some real bank..
