as a moderator, I generally try to *not* delete threads or posts. I'm of the mind that people here are adults and they can take care of themselves. But when people specifically complain I feel that I should at least consider the request. Often I do not take action though...it is always a balancing act.

In this case I locked the first Britney thread ONLY due to the recent passing of Warren and the complaint that given the circumstances people were rather sensitive and it was in very poor taste. I'll buy that argument. If it were a month ago, I would have just let it fly.
