I went over the rail on one truck and did not on the other...they can show you how each will look and you can decide which application looks best or works well with your top.
I've had Line-X on my Tacoma for 9 years and have spilled gas, diesel, two-stroke, etc. on it with very little effect! I've even dented the wheel humps and the stuff still looks great
