Ok, guys...Here are a couple of pics of the power steering line that's busted. The view is the rear of the rack.
It's the one marked "A". It's a rubber line and it connects to the rack on the end that you can see and it goes to the PS reservoir after it connects to this coiled like metal line.
Which line is it, the high-pressure line or the return line?
Here's the break.
The other line ("B") is metal so I take it that "B"is the high-pressure line? I'm hoping that "A" is the cheaper line. I do intend to replace the 6mm hex bolt with the updated bolt as we've already stripped the allen head anyway. Does the updated bolt come with the crush washers and clamps or do you have to order everything separate? Any tips on removing the stripped bolt. It's awfully cramped in there. If anyone knows the part numbers it would be a BIG help. Hopefully I'll have this thing whipped after 3 weeks.
