Why did I buy another 944?
Not long ago, I had six 944s. The race car, two running cars that were good candidates for race cars, and three parts cars in various states of decomposition.
Moving to a smaller location, I got rid of the parts cars. Then two friends wanted to join the racing fun, and bought the other two running cars- One is currently having the cage welded in, and the other is waiting in line right behind it.
So I'm finally down to just one 944. Good.
Well, that lasted for only a couple weeks. Bought a nice 1987 944S today.
Maybe I'll drive it for a bit, but it will soon loose the interior for cage installation.
Yup, it's destined to become another track toy.....
