No caffeine after noon. Cut back on the beer and carbs and get in an easy 15 minute jog before dinner. Don't nap. Hot shower after a show with the kids (9ish), time with the wife (you know what I mean) and lights out. See you at 6am.
As we get older we sleep less. Lots of reasons, I suppose, but I believe it's reduced fitness combined with increased stress. Try to fix those two things and you'll benefit regardless.
