What color?
I just got an 87S about a month and a half ago, my first 944. I'm storing it for winter, keeping it out of the salt and rain, and saving up for some work on it in the spring.
In any case, I'm curious to hear how it compares to your 8v. By all accounts, keep an eye on your chain tensioner... Mine has 82K and I'm just going to bite the bullet and replace it when I do the belts in the spring. Peace of mind.
