Actually, assuming that Obama actually wins the nomination and somehow wins the general election (awfully presumptuous, but possible) picking Hillary as a VP would be very smart on his part.

It'd be a page right out of the GB/GWB play book - "always have a VP who's even more reprehensible than you are, it's the cheapest life insurance policy you can get".

I wouldn't rule that out as a possibility at all.
