Well I don't believe you necessarily need to be shocked if that goes into water. In order to die, you have to make current go trought your body. Electricity goes trough path of least resistance so majority would just go trough pool bottom and trip the fuse.
Once, I was swimming in the lake when lightning struck the surface. I was shocked but didn't die...obviously
