It is almost midnight, and I am wide awake.

This happens a lot when I travel for work. I'm in a hotel room, often on the East Coast where my body clock thinks it is 3 hours earlier, I'm bored, and I just cannot get to sleep. Or, I sleep for an hour and then wake up.

I never have trouble sleeping at home, or when I'm traveling on vacation. Just when I'm on the road for work. Then it is common.

What to do?

I'm thinking about getting a prescription for sleeping pills. I've never taken them in my life.

Thoughts, suggestions?

I'm currently downing a pint of Guiness, in hopes that will help.
