Big court case going on now about this. Of course, the Dems want anyone with a pulse and even a few without one to be able to vote with no ID. Kind of ironic that some of their voters are too poor to afford a gov't. issued photo ID, but have no problem buying lotto tickets or filing for public assistance, which, I'll make the wild guess, requires some sort of ID. They didn't even stop when GA offered to issue the ID's free of charge! OTOH, no one can come up with an case of prosecuted voter fraud to demonstrate there's a real need for these ID's. Why do I need an ID to receive any kind of government service, indeed, even to enter a gov't. bldg., but shouldn't have to show one to vote? BTW, when I voted this past Nov. in state and local elections, I was asked for ID. If the SCOTUS shoots this one down, I hope I can start buying guns without an ID too.
