It is lame NOT to ask for ID. No, it isn't lame it is stupid. An ID card is a simple thing and should not be considered voter intimidation of the elderly and minorities which is why folks like the ACLU and other liberal civil liberties watch dog groups always raise their hackles at this sort of requirement.
