Went to the boat yard today - to check on the bottom. I was concerned because it had some growth - and I checked my records and it had been over 2 1/2 years since it's last bottom job - not good in warm florida waters. But for you pundits = that means that my cost of ownership over the past two years has been $620 (insurance at $310 a year) or $25 a month - a little less than my Porsche experience.

Anyway - the good news is that the bottom is in great shape - very little work was needed - a little sanding and that was it. I guess that solid epoxy bottom I slaved over 12 years ago paid dividends.
