My advice whenever somebody is in this situation is to look up your local
Porsche Club of America chapter. You'll get all kinds there so if you wrench, go the preservation/concours route, or track the car you'll usually find the contacts you need.
Of course, as you can see you'll also make those connections through great resources like Pelican's forums. 'Sall good, many ways to skin that cat.
