I have a genuine Service Guide for 912 Engines. It is the 1966 Edition and in excellent condition without any stains or writing. It is ~ 200 hundred pages and the introduction states;
"...you may apply the workshop manual for Type 911, in combination with this Service Guide for the 912 Engine, to the 912 Porsche as well..... you may remove from your 911 Workshop manual the chapter dealing with the 911 engine and replace it with this Service Guide for the 912 Engine, thus having a complete 912 Workshop Manual,.."
The Service Guide covers;
ENGINE AND CLUTCH (105 pages)
- Engine Assembly
- Cooling System
- Exhaust and Heating System
- Engine Lubrication System
- Cylinder Heads and Valves
- Cylinders and Pistons
- Crankcase
- Crankshaft
- Clutch
FUEL SYSTEM (30 pages)
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM (53 pages including a wiring diagram)
I have sold many 911 Workshop manuals before but this is the first time I am running into a 912 Service Manual. I don't know how much it worths as I have never seen one before so I will take offers. If I get a good offer I will sell it here, otherwise I will list it on Ebay. Please send me your questions. Thanks,
Cem
