I am looking to buy a service manual for my 1999 Carrera 4. A friend of mine has a nice Bentley manual for his Boxster, but when I looked at the Bentley Publishing website, I could not find one for the 996 model.

Are there any other good manuals available? I want to do most of my own regular maintenance and servicing, (e.g. brake jobs, strut replacement, etc) but not major stuff like engine rebuilding. So I don't think I need to spend big bucks for the Factory service manual, unless I could get a used one.

Any tips or suggestions will be appreciated.
