I gave up on understanding women ages ago.

As I have very little going for me, the only attribute that I can usually play up is a sense of humor. Get me going at the bar, and BOOM, suddenly there are hotties flanking me and sitting in my lap. I don't know how it works, I just know it works.

True story:
I spent the better part of a year trying to get past the 'good friends' stage with this young lady. After being blown off for months, I gave up. A few months later she was at a party at my house - I got a phone call from an ex - she overheard me blowing off the ex on the phone. An hour later, I was way past the 'good friends' zone and well into 'FB' zone. Pissed me off that it was that easy, actually.
