You have to use it like a contact cement. Just coat both the seal and the channel it fits in with the adhesive. Let it get a little tacky before putting the seal in the groove. It works really well when done this way as opposed to just coating the seal and stuffing it in the groove. You can clean up any mess with a mild solvent like mek or enamel reducer.
