You know the deal with the slippers might be what they use for preservative in the shipping process, for instance a company that I worked for got cotton gloves from the cheapest bidder and everyone was breaking out with a rash from wearing them they were from Thailand and impregnated with freon to keep the bugs out and that was what was irritating everyone.
