I use mine for varmints and plinking. I have a bunch of wood stock rifles that would also work just fine, but I always liked the look and feel of the AR's as they remind me of my younger days in the Army Reserve. Pretty much no good reason for owning it other than that I like it. Mine is a RockRiverArms, flat-top with a 16" barrel and mid length handgrips that I built up from a bare receiver using all RockRiver components.
