I've been using the Mach 3/Fusion and love it! The cost of blades is much higher than disposables, but my blades last longer (2x or 3x). I recall something about a new metal that was developed for the Mach 3's that helps keep the blades sharper for a longer period of time. Shaving in the shower (using a mirror like RickM mentioned) helps soften the beard, but it is a _itch when I travel because I don't bother with a portable version. If I use any other blade on my beard, my 5 o'clock shadow shows up sometime after lunch!

I do have one question.....Is there any difference between using just a Fusion blade compared to the vibrating handle? For some reason, I have been resisting switching from something I know works for me vs. paying extra for a vibrating blade.
