I used them communication as in being an active listener and talker. You really need to have open communication where both of you can say what you want with the understanding that you both will share.
When the lines of communication break and repair is beyond hope you end up like me ... divorced. I realize now after the fact that I "may" have been able to do more.
Let's hope that we learn from our mistakes and history.
