I'd stick with something more central to the engine case. Those studs are not hefty.
Wrap to the attached case mount yoke and also to the rear leaf spring (engine mount bar).
My engine was on a ATV lift and I raised it all the way up, tilted the engine up to put the yoke pipe at the engine stand fitting, had my 14 year old stabilize the stand while my 16 year old and I brought it up and slid it in. They are girls around 100/120 lbs each. They wouldn't even take the beer I offered them - just kidding.
