Guys were talking about the undefeated Patriots, the team some consider to be one of the best ever
, playing against a team that didn't *deserve* to be there. The end was that NE didn't cover the spread and SD was within a score of the lead until the 4th. Hardly a blow out when you consider the injuries SD was playing with.
I'm not making excuses for SD, they had some overly conservative play calling that hurt, questionable LT heart, but I think they played NE very very well.
