You are correct in stating that we don't know all the facts. All we have are about 20 vague pictures and very little information on a '73.5 T that appears nice at first glance and is priced at the upper end of the spectrum for these cars, even in a hot long hood market. We also have two relatively typical used car salesman comments that someone posted on an internet chat board that are tainting our opinion about the seller and the car.
wm711, I'm not flaming you or trying to cause trouble. I applaud you for defending your friend.
It's also appearant that someone has spent a decent amount of money restoring this car since the interior looks fresh, the rims are refinished and the carriage work seems good from the little we can see in the pics. We have no idea how the mechanicals on this car are.
I think that if this car had it's original paint and interior in excellent shape, ultra low mileage, a solid water tight history, up to date service, no major issues present or looming and full documentation without the used car salesman comments, we'd all be changing our tune about how this car is priced. Until we know more, the normal human reaction is to be skeptical.
