So what's the deal with the sense of entitlement to the passing lane that off-duty civil servants seem to have?
Last night some douche in a 4-Runner with a fire department sticker on the rear window (don't get me started on those stickers; if they really meant anything anymore, Seattle must have at least 10,000 firemen) honked and flipped me the bird when I passed him on the right. He was going 2 under in the passing lane! Of course I'm going to pass on the right!
Fast forward to this morning on my way into work. Some some guy in a riced-out eclipse tried to cut across two lanes in front of me. I kept my pace even, figuring if he wants to get in front, he'll have to speed up. Well, at the last second, he decides I'm going too fast and he can't make it, and swerves back into the right lane. I think nothing of it, since Seattle drivers are generally this inept at merging. Well, ten seconds later he pulls up besides me and starts waving a badge at me. WTF does he want from me? I just

I've gotten this same treatment from people the city-owned Prius' also.
I wish there were some way to lodge a complaint about these people.
