Ah! the memories! I Autocrossed the crap out of a stripped down, hotted up Cramingear in the mid 60's - big anti- roll bar, decambered, wide sticky tires, etc, Speed was gained more by handling and driving than power on short tight couses. I kept getting pushed into higher classes due to the success of the total package, and I just finally ran for overall position, due to non-stock modifications, it did very well, but Lotus Elans and Minicooper 1275 s were tough. Stock brake drums would not stay round!! so much fun!!! I do love this project, balance should be interesting? Best of luck, Gordon.
