On mine I used stock non hydraulic(RoW) bumper mounts, back ones are used in front and the front ones were cut down and used in back to mount the nerf bars. I think it's a good idea to use them to shunt a frontal impact into the area designed for that purpose.
My oil cooler is hung from the front nerf bar. It's a regular B&B valance mount, fits perfectly
