I have to defend the painters here. I've put roughly 90 hours into my project already and am just ready to start shooting primer. Granted, I'm not an expert, and am learning as I go along but these are very involved cars to paint. When I started I thought my car was almost rust free, and would require no body work. Wrong.

So far I'm thrilled to be doing the work myself. I know my car so well now, and have developed even more of a love for p cars. When I brought my car to kevin, he quoted me similar numbers to yours, and I think it was every bit reasonable considering the amount of man hours involved.
