Ok.........It's leaking at the flywheel

I need some advice..........I have about 3k miles on my rebuild it was done in '98( 1967 with a big bore kit and Weber's, but a stock cam )..............I never drive it.......Business has kept me to busy...........I started it the other day, after letting it sit for 11 months and it's leaking .........allot. It appears to be in the clutch area.........my guess the main seal. Well I need the expert advice of this forum..........If it is the main seal.......can it be replaced without splitting the case?
I'm a self fixer..........but I've never attempted anything as major as this. Help !
What am I looking at, as far as engine removal and repair ?
Any special tools required, is the seal an available part ? I'm feeling, I don't know what I'm feeling..........it's breaking my heart.........I love this car. I've spent all my spare time racing my Go karts and neglecting my 912.
Come on and make me feel better and tell me it's not that big a thing......
